Life has always been more to me than black or white and staying within the lines. I try to always remember that life is slowly passing us by and these sweet moments, we will never experience again. That's what led me to photography and filmmaking.

What I remember of when my first daughter was born in 2017. The moment they laid her on my chest, time stopped. I remember being alone with her, still, examining her face; she was so small, so helpless, and so beautiful. What I can't recall is what I was wearing, who the nurse was that handed her to me, or what my mom was doing in this moment. I would say I only have partial details of those moments that day. Those moments came and went, and what I have of them in my memory will always stay the same. That is why I love film; it brings more depth to an experience. You’re able to watch a full film and have more expressions to remember. What I would give to expand those first few hours with my little love.
